Teddy did great steering the ship , but no one can deny the offense just runs smoother when Drew is in there

Drew is a top 5 qb all time. That has nothing to do with teddy.

Bridgewater knows that Brees is better, but he just made himself a ton of money. Brees just wants to be on the field with his team. I think both players are happy right now.

I'm not saying that Bridgewater wants to be on the bench, but he realizes the reality of the situation.

It’s not even close as far as reading a defense and accuracy! His ability to read a defense pre-snap and check to an audible is something only a first ballot hale of fame QB can do.

Who'd have thought the guy playing in a system 14 years and instrumental in its current form would be better at running it than anyone else?

Its not about HOF or any of that. Any other HOF QB wouldn't be as smooth as Drew in this offense.

Jesus this board is just filled with idiots.

Truly earth-shattering news.

Was it really that much better though?

End of first half with a 4 point lead and Brees's stats looked similar to Teddy during his 5-0 run.

And let's not pretend the Cardinals have some juggernaut of defense like the Cowboys, Jags, or Bears

Difference was receivers didn't have to make max effort on the catch just to get the ball. It hit them in the hands or the chest 99% of the time.

Drew was 31-39 with 319 passing and 2 TD’s after 2 quarters

No offense to Teddy but those are dream stats for him in an entire game.

Drew also made quite a bit of pre snap adjustments

Sure it does. It's why Teddy went immediately back to the bench.
