"Game of surprises".
What a pathetic cop out.

You do know alabama is the most penalized team in the sec.
How convenient that is for the SEC offices to point to try to cover up their tracks. Something they point to every time this subject is brought up as if it doesn't matter when and in what situations calls are made.

He would be a perfect fit for the D.C. swamp. NEVER answers the f'n question!!!

Standard statement, but they are now being watched closely.

After the Bama/A&M game, that same crew did the Carolina Florida game. That crew is an issue. Probably the one doing our game Saturday!

He forgot to end it with, “Roll Tide.”

I agree that there’s definitely validity to this issue, but as long as they’re winning games by 30 points it comes off like bs.
If they get into games where it comes down to one or two possessions a few times a year then I think we can really get some momentum behind this campaign

So apparently the line judge from the Bama/Tenn game is a guy who grew up a big Bama fan but went to Samford. Since he didn’t go to UA, I guess they think he can ref their games with impartiality. *rolls eyes*
His brother, a huge Bama fan, posted a picture of the two of them together and congratulated him on a “great officiated game”.
This is the kind of bullshite we are dealing with.

Sankey is as bad as FKing.

I didn’t go to an ACC school, but I grew up in NC, so I might as well have. If I ever became a ref, hopefully I would be disqualified from working any ACC or SEC games. I know that’s not how it works though.

I refuse to read the article because I know the Bama alum that runs it all will just lie...
However, they are now stating that Matt "The Minister of Propaganda" Austin is unbiased?
Bwwwaaaahaaaaaa
I watched a YouTube vid of the UF Game (I had it on mute) two days later where he was trying to convince everyone LSU hit the UF QB in the knee when he hit him in the hip.
Literally saying what you are seeing isn't real.
They are going to insult your intelligence knowing there are enough fans that won't call it out for fear of being cowards.
I know what I'm watching and I still enjoy it. It is basically WWE level shenanigans at this point, and there is nothing you can do. At least LSU is entertaining now with the new offense.

Desert King, can you link that?
I have a ton of other ref stories similar to that one. I'm not sharing them here.

Think he was responding to South Carolina coach Muschamp's public comments about requesting clarification on some calls vs UF. In fact I'm sure that's what it was since Sankey addressed going public by a coach.
Somebody should have to explain that. The tying Gator touchdown was one of the most egregious missed calls ever. The "blocker" had hold of the back of the defender's jersey for 20 yards running down the field, not to mention that the play should have been blown dead for false start.

Really the block on that play wasn't the main problem.
The RT came out of his stance almost a full second before the ball was snapped. No call.
Play should have been blown dead.
Reminded me of Bama's game tying touchdown in the MNC two years ago against UGA. The WR was a full yard down the field when the ball was snapped. No call, Bama scores on fourth down, game goes to OT.
Strange how these blatant things happen often, isn't it?

This is the officiating crew from the Bama/Tennessee game:
Referee: Hubert Owens
Umpire: Walt Hill
Linesman: Chad Green
Line judge: Ryan Hagan
Back judge: Martin Hankins
Field judge: Greg Thomas
Side judge: Mike Boshers
Center judge: Jason McArthur
Alternate: Jason McArth
Can we find out if any of these guys will be officiating our game on Saturday?

Guys, LISTEN TO THIS!
The best thing about the LSU vs Bama game is it will be watched by the entire nation. The SEC refs will know this. They will definitely have to call a fair game or the whole Nation will see their unfair action.
Remember, the last time We played Bama at Bama and won the 2011 game, is was the exact same way. #1 vs #2 The refs called a fair game.
I think we should be ok.

Last year versus Clemson, saban wasn't getting his normal bs calls from refs and thus bama lost part of their game plan and got crushed. He looked lost at times--a fairly called game hamstrings him.
