Get your son a replacement for his perfectly broken in Wilson A2000 glove that was supposed to last the remainder of his HS playing days!
Items for the dog have already been covered.

I have a 9 month old Male Black Lab. Things to consider: Hydrogen Peroxide, Choke chains, Dogtra 1900s, He loves the Water Buffalo chew horns and a Frozen Filled Kong ( pumpkin, dry dog food, cottage cheese, and plain yogurt) .

I have a ARE topper on my truck, so I bought a Milwaukee 18v jobsite fan to help circulate the air just in case I got stuck in traffic.

If you an OT baller get a YETI dog bowl....

And always remember

A tired dog is a good dog....

A big azz crate for the pup. get on Craiglist and see if you can find one cheap. If not, buy it anyway.

My elderly lab left us last December. For the last year of her life we battled lar par.

If I ever get another dog I am using harness only for the leash. I don’t know of her pulling the collar when she was young contributed to the breathing problem but I don’t want to take the chance.

Funny store; Kid i was helping train his Wildrose' lab calls me one sunday morning in a panic. Dog had eaten his wife's socks and he was deer hunting and out of town. Told him to have her bring dog to my house and i would fix problem. She shows up with said dog and i get my syringe and a bottle of hydrogen peroxide out. 40cc's later the bastid pukes a clothes hamper of socks out on my tail gate. She didn't want any of her socks back, no, zero panties in that mess.

Some tips.

Let the dog whine at night. The first week or 2 will be miserable. Let the dog whine. If you give in and take it out the kennel every time it makes you sad, you’re screwing yourself in the long run.

Take it to the bathroom often. If it’s kenneled up inside, you need for be taking it outside every 3-4 hours. If it whines in the middle of the night, wake up grab it out the kennel, walk it to the grass and set it down. When it touches the grass, use a command word. Mine is “potty”, I actually say “go potty” now. When it uses the bathroom, show it some love then back into the kennel.

I split my dogs meals into 3 times a day. At least once but mostly 2 times per day I’d take the kibble for her meal and put it in a pouch on me. I’d do a mini training session and her reward was her meal. She learned sit, kennel, heel, place within a few weeks. I used a clicker to start, got away from it once she knew what was sorta going on.
