We recruited him originally. I was surprised he wasn’t a Tiger in the first place.

He wouldn't crack ours either this year but that doesn't mean we won't need him in the future. We recruited him originally. It's not like we're overflowing with quality future OTs

Texas OL is the strength of their team and tenured. Could be a transfer option.

aren't schools limited in number of takes? If so, I prob wouldn't get a freshman unless he's close to game ready. Save it for more dire need.

I remember being somewhat aggravated we couldn't make hardly any headway with him.
If hasn't let his weight get away from him or completely abandoned his agility/mobility drills he's worth a look.
He had the potential to be a monster if he could work himself into a more nimble player. Without that he's just a tall guard.
But I thought the raw material to do just that was there.

An OL isnt a bust if he doesnt start as a freshman. Its pretty rare.
