He said the Tua injury is worse than what is being let on

Said everyone is comparing it to last year and how he looked vs OU with a similar recovery time, and then said LSU isn't OU and Dave Aranda will be licking his chops.

Said he would take LSU and said LSU will have the advantage in almost every category and is just a better team at this point.

This board has lost its ever loving mind over Tua's injury.

Yeah this is going to be a loooooong three weeks. I just hope we don't look past Auburn. If we slip up with Auburn it doesn't matter whether Tua is hurt for the LSU game or not.

First, his health is the main priority, no need to risk his potential NFL career...if he's not ready, don't take a chance and use some snake oil boot on him just to play in the game. I remember back in the 70's Ole Miss had Archie Manning rush back with a steel plate inserted in his fractured non-throwing arm just to play against LSU...he didn't finish the game and wasn't his self....

Les Miles has lost control of the Tua injury reporting.

He won’t be able to practice until the week of the game and that’ll be limited. He may play but he won’t be close to 100%.

Even with a healthy Tua, LSU is better than the Gumps at virtually every level. I know, hard to believe, but it’s true.

Just beat these bastards, please.

I agree. There are entirely too many threads about Tua. It’s not a good look.

Glen Logan had the same surgery after Texas game.
Granted playing dline is a lot harder than playing QB on it.

Saban had the REC pay him to say that!

Saban knows that this LSU team is different from the ones he's easily out schemed and out talented over the last 6 years. He knows LSU can beat them and wants to play the underdog, injured animal fighting for his life role.

He wants O and the LSU team to nibble on the rat poison Pawl's putting out!

I think everyone is being set up for a rope-a-dope. Tua will be play and be effective.

Kyle Trask came into BR on a sprained MCL and torched Aranda.

I don’t believe it. This is the narrative Saban wants and is using Pawl as the mouth piece.

Yeah well we better hope Burrow isn't injured at any point this season...

He makes us very good. With Miles we might be top 15 to 20 team....maybe!

He also tried to soften the news for Alabama fans. He said Greg Sankey,Steve Shaw and the board of directors of the REC (Red Elephant Club) are meeting for lunch tomorrow at Birmingham Country Club. At least one LSU started will be suspended for the Alabama game and another one will miss the first half for "targeting." Closed by saying don't be surprised if there are some hardline interpretations of some obscure rules.Refs will spot the ball each down not allowing LSU to get into tempo.
