I think that’s a very good comparison actually. I like it.

I'll beat Mel's arse for comparing Joe to someone who has choked more than Jenna Jameson.

So Joe will be a color guy after his playing days are over? Can Joe golf too? I hear Romo is really good.

Would like to think Burrow would have a better pro career. Romo’s biggest accomplishment in the nfl was his last contract. Didn’t do jack to earn it, just Jerry being Jerry.

Burrow has much better field vision and decision-making skills than did Romo.

Poor overall compare.

Everyone who hates on Romo will disregard the horrible defenses he played with and the long line of dogshit Cowboys QB’s between him and Aikman. But I do think Burrow is a taller version of Brees

Romo played for Sean Payton. Hopefully Joe plays for Payton one day

I mean, this might sound stupid, but I think he has a lot of the same intangibles that made Brees or Peyton Manning so successful.

His ability to read the defense presnap and move players into position to take advantage of what they are or are not doing is going to be what defines his pro career, much like those two greats. He may not throw the ball through a brick wall but his accuracy and ball placement is elite.

His leadership, intense competitive nature, and focus are second to none.

Add to that very solid athleticism and ability to move both in and out of the pocket.

I see no reason why he can’t be an extremely successful pro in the right situation. Hopefully, he gets the chance

romo went to a committed winner, The Dallas Cowboys, I would hope Joe goes to a good program (even if they are currently losing).
