Any essential virtue in Democracy can "die" in the open light as well. Democracy is no more virtuous and practical as the electorate that makes up it's majority.
Take a good look at those who now attempt to employ Authoritarian means toward their Socialist end; in the near future, their numbers will be such that they won't need to be in "darkness"...they'll have the Democratic numbers to overtly rule...in the name of (assumed, morally superior) Democracy.
This whole thing is like "Weekend at Bernie's"; we are propping up the corpse of what is left of our formerly, virtuous Democracy. Problem is...a corpse rots...though Bernie didn't in the movies.
All Republicans should walk out of these Committees, and their fraudulent *Investigations*. Don't even participate in any *Impeachment* vote. Let the Dems own it...top to bottom. And take it to what is left of the Democratic vote next election. Last election, IMO, lest things radically change.

Arent these depositions not traditional hearings? Just asking.
If they are depositions then what I find troubling is that Democrats are leaking the subject of them.
