BR “Sellout crowd shook the Tiger Stadium press box”

In The Advocate, Brooks Kubena noted “The sellout crowd shook the Tiger Stadium press box like a roller coaster, it’s powerful noise threatening to bring the full moon down from the night sky, “
The report noted that after Fla took the lead, “there was no panic” Burrow said. “We felt like we’ve been executing all night, and felt like we’d go down and score. We faced adversity and we power through it.”
Review the game video again. There’s a clip of a facial expression by Burrow after Fla scored to take the lead that says it all. No smiles, he had a serious look, a look of determination. Or maybe it was WTF is our defense doing? Burrow truly is the greatest LSU quarterback dating back many, many years. His leadership may be what pushes this offense, this defense, his team over the finish line.

I was texting my buddy during the game - I remember the days when I would get nervous as hell when we went down in a big game because I had no idea how we'd score points to get back in it. I didn't feel like that at all during this game. I was confident everytime we got the ball that we were going to score so a 7 point deficit was nothing.

Incredible the confidence LSU fans have in the offense, regardless of the opponent. You know all the players feel that way too.

I thing I love the most about this year is we do not have as many penalty yards against us as passing yards against the opponent.

I can't remember the last Tiger team where I didn't worry on 3rd down. No matter the distance to get. Same feeling with Redzone scoring. I could get accustom to stress free Tiger football.

Tiger fans have much more faith in the LSU offense than the defense, keep waiting to see the defense be able to stop drives consistently, Fla had 6 long drives 80 to 90 yards with two being stopped at the goal line. Need to give this explosive offense more opportunities.

I loved when Joe jumped up and down when one of our players caused a false start ! Wish someone would post a clip of it.

That’s why everyone was so upset about the PI call on Stevens on 3rd down, they knew when LSU got the ball they were going to score and be up 28-14 at halftime.

With just a couple more stops, LSU could have won by 21 or more against the best defense in the SEC.
