I know someone that was on the 2003 LSU offensive line. He told me that when we played them in the SEC championship, pollack just quit in the 4th quarter. Pollack told him, that he had enough, he was done! Every since I was told that, I have zero respect for what that pussy has to say!

Looks like his eyes creep further and further back into his skull every year.

Pollack is a fricking idiot

Pollack gets a lot of grief here but at least he doesn’t pussy-foot around the issues. He has an opinion and he goes with it. From a recent article I read:
quote:
Allow us to enumerate:
quote:
During a forum on Houston quarterback D’Eriq King’s unprecedented redshirt maneuver, Des, Herbie and even Rece Davis put an equivocating spin on things with one or two even noting that they’d spoken to Dana Holgorsen. It was left to Pollack to point out the short-sightedness of the dynamic, that in potentially returning King for an unblemished 2020 season Holgorsen may have fully lost the players he currently has. We don’t have the sound byte available, but the gist of Pollack’s argument is that Holgorsen has no shown his cards to his team: To paraphrase Orwell, some players are more equal than others. Good luck with that going forward.
quote:
The Michigan problem. Good for GameDay for tackling the “what’s wrong with Michigan?” issue but how did the roundup go from Howard to Herbie to Coach Corso (reminded us of an SNL Democratic debate sketch) before Pollack, speaking fourth, finally uttered the “H” word. “What about Jim Harbaugh?” Pollack asked aloud. When Herbie came back with the notion that the Wolverines “need some alphas” in the locker room, it was Pollack who reminded him that it’s the coach’s job, and he’s paid very handsomely to do so, to develop those alphas.
quote:
Finally, on a discussion about who’s in and out on the playoff, Coach Corso said, “Notre Dame has a good chance in the playoff.” That got a nod of approval from some on the panel, as they believed the Irish had acquitted themselves favorably in Athens one week earlier and they also, understandably, are highly deferential to any words Corso utters. Pollack, thankfully for us viewers, was not. “Let me tell you something,” he said. “Notre Dame is out.”

Am I one of the few that like him? When he says RPO is cheating, he’s complimenting how unstoppable it is, not literally saying it’s against the rules. He’s been favorable to LSU for years.

Yeah. Him saying it is cheating is not a hot take. A lot of analysts describe it as cheating because linemen are blocking downfield on a pass.

I read some of the comments before watching the video and I was prepared to be outraged.
I generally don't like him on Game Day. That said, I didn't really have an issue with anything that he said.

the cheating bit was in jest because he's a defensive guy. give me a break. lighten up nancy
Right. He was saying the same thing about Bama before our game last year

He isn’t mad. He went back for seconds
Posted on 10/11/19 at 10:03 pm to TchPowDog
Yeah he didn’t actually mean like literally cheating. He’s just saying it’s Impossible for linebackers to make the right choice
Posted on 10/11/19 at 10:08 pm to TchPowDog
his favorite stall must have been occupied

I watched
It wasn’t that bad
He gave LSU and burrow a lot of credit, lots of people think the RPO is unfair and that’s fine
He’s a defensive dude, I expect him to view it that way. If he were a wideout in college he’d love it
Nothing burger, relax OP

When a former defensive player is calling your RPO offense “cheating,” you know you’re playing the right style of offense.

Why we gotta always be ready to burn this mother fricker down?
He gave us and burrow a ton of credit and had burrow in NYC for the Heisman at the moment. Sheesh baws, relax

Sometimes they do that to get viewers to watch for higher ratings

He hates LSU because he’s been the running joke here for 2 decades.
