Didn't see one on here, this issue should transcend politics. Poliboard is overloaded with people who blindly support Trump no matter the issue. This is an issue where Trump has clearly made the wrong choice, and people of conscience have to speak up. To be clear, I think Trump's heart is in the right place (ending endless wars and getting our troops home), but there are more strategic ways that a withdrawal in Syria could have been handled without leaving our Kurdish allies betrayed and with less than two days to prepare for a full on invasion.

You are more than welcomed to go over there and take up arms if you believe in the cause.

If they haven’t been preparing for the time that the US pulls out, than they are more low IQ than the Rant’s token racist

Oh really?
Sounds like you have an opinion.
Things haven't ever been clear in the Middle East.
Sounds like there will be more dead bodies piled up like the last 1000 years.
Thankfully it won't be American bodies.
I think it's the right call. Let's see how it plays out.
But spare us the absolutes.

General Lee once came to this board to out a terrorist dry run at a Walmart in Illinois that turned out to be a Mexican with a backpack shopping. He is a bastion of world political knowledge.

While it sucks for them, it’s about time we stop playing world cop. Hundreds of Marines died in Lebanon in the 80s because we were playing world cop. I fought in Iraq in ‘91 because we were playing world cop. Thousands of Americans have fought in the Middle East nonstop for the past 18 years and counting because we are still playing world cop.
And what good has it done? When we first went to the Middle East in the early 80s it was an unstable shithole full of goat-fricking fanatics wanting to kill us. And today it’s still an unstable shithole full of goat-fricking fanatics wanting to kill us.
It’s time we stop wasting trillions of dollars and precious American blood playing world cop.

Not the case.
It's not blind, either. Trump happens to be someone who finally supports what we have pushed for for a very long time. Not everything, but a very large percentage.
This is coming from a former opponent and protester. I was absolutely wrong about him and have been pleasantly surprised.
