Everybody knew Stingley would be great and Emery and Davis Price were expected to contribute quickly. I thought Ika was going to be better than expected, but injuries may have gotten in the way.
My picks: Joe Evans and Cardale Flott, both whom have been solid.

Lanard Fournette was a pleasant surprise. Just a work-horse. Glad he was a part of the team.

Defense
Neil Farrell
Tyler Shelvin

Farrell showed some flashes last year and looks to have taken the leap this year.

Shelvin has been straight beastly this year, he's totally transformed himself in his years here.

Offense
Adrian Magee
Austin Deculus

Magee was just a hold over nobody thought would really be a starter and he's honestly blossomed into playing the best ball of ANY of our Olinemen right now

Deculus was criticized by many including myself all of last year and this year he's really stepped up his play so far, he's not elite or anything, but he's not the constant liability he was last year either

WRs no doubt

I fully expect them to catch EVERY pass. Last year I was happy IF we caught one.

Deculus would be my pick as well. Guy was a fringe 4 star/5 star coming out of high school and is finally living up to it.

Clark, definitely, on D.

Has to be Chase on O; taking it to a new level

Chase or any of the WRs aren't a surprise... we saw flashes last year.

100% lol. def a different feel when pass is in the air than last year. They are making some incredible catches that joe is putting where only they can get it.

No doubt for me the most pleasant surprise has been Cade York. Dude has been lights out. Gonna need him to keep playing this well. Had big shoes to fill and off to a damn near perfect start .

Clark is the first one I thought of.

Reminded me of Delpit in his first spring game where you just said, "damn, who is that?"

It's not the team per se, it's the GBFTL. It's definitely a pleasant surprise they no longer play the atrocious Redzone music when the team is on defense.
