Porsche Cayenne reliability and maintenance

My wife's (no pics) car was totaled a couple of weeks ago and we've been looking for another vehicle. She drove a 2016 base model (non turbo) Cayenne last night and loves it. I know nothing about these vehicles as far as maintenance costs and reliability. We tend to keep our cars a while, and she drives a lot. Her last 3 cars had well over 200k on them when we traded them. Any OT ballers have experience with these?

These criteria eliminate Porsche. You'll need to stick with a less interesting Japanese ride.

do you plan on having every service done at the stealership? Because buying a Porsche is the guaranteed way to accomplish that.

I would imagine they're sky high and a PITA to do anything on.

Find a CPO diesel. Powertrain warrantied through 2024 or some shite due to dieselgate concessions
Reliability is very high on Porsche. Higher than most Japanese makes.
Maintenance will be quite costly though

We have the exact same car year and model. Awesome car that holds its value very well.
That said DO NOT LET BRIAN HARRIS PORSCHE TOUCH THAT CAR.
Lying, thieving pricks!
Take it to Loupe Automove in BR. Paul Loupe is incredible and honest is the day is long. He did scheduled maintenance repairs for 1/4 of Brian Harris. You can thank me later

Where do you live? Maybe someone can pout you to a good indy mechanic.

Great car but the maintenance costs are pretty expensive. Not as expensive as the $400 dollar Paretti range Rover oil change but close.

That's what I was afraid of. I do most of the maintenance myself aside from routine oil changes because it doesn't save enough to justify my time spent. But, I've heard that only Porsche dealers can reset the oil sensor light? Is that correct.

Wait, you already owned one for 3 years, but you're asking about longer term issues?

First, she needs to learn to drive and be put on a probation period of a few years without totaling another car in that time.

Well, some baw hit her. It wasn't her fault.

Don’t be worried about the maintenance costs. We’ve had zero issues with the car. As I said we’ve been using Paul Loupe in BR and he is no more than any others standard car for repairs. Good dude

Duck, you need to head over to Rennlist.com and check out the Cayenne section.
They'll have quick answers for some of your questions.
They do hold value well, but I would see if you can get into a CPO car.
Base car, non-turbo, non-diesel would be the most practical answer.
