On all the talk shows they keep talking this guy up to be a 1st round QB pick and comparing him to other run and gun QBs in the NFL currently. I obviously haven't watched any Utah State football this year, so perhaps he is that legit and I don't know.

He’s a gunslinger. Cannon of an arm and can make all the throws.

Mike D said on AFR yesterday that Love, Burrow and Herbert were way ahead of everyone else at the Manning Camp.

TIFWIW.

The strange thing is, and I guess I'm slightly biased, but I thought with the way Burrow is playing thus far that he would be generating more buzz but everything I've seen thus far is Tua and Herbert then everyone else.

He is really good but the talent around him isn’t. Big Ben was really good but his team wasn’t in college. Not similar QBs but similar scenarios.

He is really good, problem is he lost some of the surrounding cast from last years 11-2 team.

His TD/INT ratio is pretty poor (6/5) but hes still thrown for over 1000 yards in 4 games. They lost a close game to a now ranked Wake Forest and played 3 cupcakes.

Not related to the QB, but worth noting the high in Logan, Utah has been in the mid 50s this week. The high tomorrow in Baton Rouge is 95. 11 am kickoff means the sun will be directly overhead. There is a 40% chance of rain, but then it could just become a hot sticky mess. This game is gonna be brutal for them.

Their QB gets sloppy fairly often. forces throws, and is seriously inaccurate sometimes.

Has 6 TDs and 5 INTs on the season. Roger the Shrubber is saying Love will throw 3 picks tomorrow - I say 2, but 3 or 3+ wouldn't surprise me.

Hes a big kid and an athlete. The offense lives and dies with him. He can seriously throw the ball and he has good mobility. The only this is that he is kind of alone on their offense.

If he was on an SEC team...he could give us some serious problems.

I listened to that segment too. MikeD went on a 20 minute rant about how good Love is and LSU better be careful etc etc but then predicted LSU to win 60-24

Think Patrick Mahomes when he was at Texas Tech. Big physically talented QB with not much around him.

Big ben was hit a lot on his trip to tiger stadium. Kind of felt bad for him at the time.

He will try and throw bombs to beat us.

He made 2 horrible th rows last game. Both opposite field 10 yd outs that the db’s easily picked off.

He has the legs to run but watching him he’d much rather stay in the pocket but If you get pressure he is certainly prone to dumb throws, throws you wouldn’t expect an upper class man to make.

He is the best player on a mid-major team. I hate to say this but can't think of a better comparison. It is kinda like Kaperneck on Nevada.

Utah State has a very good balanced offense. 533 YPG (326 passing/207 rush). Their only loss was to @Wake Forrest 38-35 and they were winning late before Wake pulled out a last minute TD. Wake and Clemson are the only remaining undefeated ACC teams and the most they've given up in their other games is 24 points.

I still think LSU wins by at least 2 TDs, but USU is not going to lie down for the Tigers.

Athletic guy with a big arm. Can struggle with accuracy at times and will force throws. Tends to trust his arm more than he should at times. For the most part however if somebody gets open he will find them.
