Yes. Court gave us 50/50 custody and our kid has been with me 100% since before summer. It sucks but if she doesn't want any part of our kids life then I'm good with caring for our kid full time.

Sounds like you got the good end, buddy has to keep going to court cause his ex has basically refused to let him have any contact with the kid. Fails to show up to hand off for the court ordered custody arrangement and the judge doesn’t seem to care because they prefer the mother have the kid.

If I were in that situation I'd look at it as a blessing. Sometimes coparenting with a sociopath is like negotiating with terrorists.
I will admit in my experience has been better of late but there are moments.
