Tackling is not a hard thing to learn. If LSU has really buckled down on it and practiced during the bye week, then we should see significant improvement against Utah State.

Last game before tGauntlet. Lets roll

Hopefully Aranda is earning his money. Plenty of time to gameplan and plenty of rest for the players. Should shut down Utah State.

You’ll have to wait until Florida comes to town.

I'm really interested to see how we cover the slot or, just generally, with our nickle...and if it means sliding Fulton inside, how his replacement does.

No its not and these guys most likely "learned" how to tackle in middle school. Its also instinct. It comes down to WANTING to tackle and hit someone.

How do you teach or get better at tackling without tackling?

Bye weeks are a good time to work on fundamentals. Like tackling.

Hopefully we come out the other side ready to roll.

I have a feeling Utah State will score a Touchdown on it’s first possession in less than 7 total plays.

Really looking forward to seeing what Baskerville can do on defense. Physically he looks in better shape, and he was looking phenomenal on special teams against Vandy. I was worried after seeing his performance against A&M last year, he looked lost. But I think he’s a play maker, and I’m glad to see him getting better.

I think the LSU Defense is going to come out on a mission to prove a point. I project a huge day from the Tigers' defense. This is going to be a statement game for them.
