I think the altitude's going to be the deciding factor in the 3rd period. The Avs should be better suited to it than LA.

And I no sooner respond to the thread than the Avs goaltender gets run into and is out of the game.

Ross Johnson and Ryan Reaves drop gloves at the opening face off. Guess that we needed another Saturday night fight card on The Strip.

And how are the Maple Leafs going to find a sucker to take those bad contracts? Give away all their #1 draft picks for the next 5 years?

Fans had a nightmare getting to the game and want a refund.

The Los Angeles Kings won a 3-1 thriller over the Colorado Avalanche in their outdoor game at the Air Force Academy's Falcon Stadium on Saturday night. But thousands of fans didn't see large portions of the game, and many left before its conclusion, thanks to a horrific traffic mess that turned 45-minute journeys from Denver into four-plus-hour expeditions.

My brother surprised me with tickets to 2 of these events commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Miracle On Ice next weekend. Now, I'm gonna have to take back some of the bad things that I've been saying about him.

They already gave one away to dump Marleau. You can only get away with that for so long before it catches up to you.

Yeah, the Kings jerseys were horrible. Avalanche was decent. I can’t stand boring letters used as the logo. Lame. That’s what I like about the NHL. Unlike other sports, most of the teams don’t use lame letters or script as the logo.

I've been to many football games in Falcon Stadium with similar crowds. I've never experienced that kind of delay entering or leaving the stadium.

I don’t know what the holdup was then. I heard there was a couple accidents on the interstate, but it sounds like that wasn’t the biggest part of the problem. That would take most of the fun out of the game for me if it was that big of a headache getting inside the stadium.

People are fricking pissed, how the hell are the logistics not in place?

I would be too. I would have turned around and went back home after so long waiting. Hopefully, the Hurricanes/Raleigh plan and coordinate better since they are getting the Stadium Series next year.

The NHL was responsible for most of the logistics inside Falcon Stadium. As far as the traffic delays getting into the Academy I'm at a loss to explain. I've been to graduations at the stadium where the POTUS has spoken and not experienced any delays out of the ordinary. I did read that someone fell off the bridge near the North Gate resulting in their death which probably explains the delays for people going to Denver via the North Gate after the game.

Not sure about these Nashville jerseys.

Blues can’t buy a win. Avalanche and Stars closing fast. Thanks useless Senators for blowing the lead with 5 minutes left.

we got another point tonight, albeit against the worst team in the history of Earf, but if we had one I believe Razor said we’d go top of the West

after starting 1-7-1. we dug out of it too fast to pull a 2019 blues
