LSU will not be in any kind of championship because:

1. Defense: Our defensive line does not measure up to the standards of the elite in the SEC. We will have trouble protecting Burrow against the kind of DL's Florida, Auburn, Alabama, and Texas A&M has. Contrary to popular belief LSU has not done a good job of recruiting the DL in the past few years with the exception of Chaisson and he has been hurt. Our present DL is heavy with little or no quickness off the ball on a consistent basis. Absolutely no pass rush. The last two weeks the defense has looked like a Chinese fire drill with no two players on the same page(is this the players or Aranda's scheme). DBU has been a sieve since the Texas game and we have not faced the most difficult part of the schedule.
2. Offense: LSU has a quarterback and some great receivers but lack of a running game will come back to bite us in crunch time. The OL has done a good job in protecting Burrow but will struggle against the elites of the SEC to protect Burrow and open holes for our running backs. LSU will not win more than 9 games in the regular season. Hope I'm wrong but that's the way I see it

I agree that LSU isn’t sniffing the playoffs this season. SEC is stacked this year and our weak defense and lack of a stud RB will cost us a couple of games. I don’t think any SEC team will be undefeated.

Because we dropped a spot in each poll? Nah man. The top is wide open. Each team has glaring deficiencies. Hje teams that that work on those and control them to survive until the final 4 will be there. I believe we have the coaching and the players to do that. Once in the final 4, it will be a crap shoot though. The injuries and suspensions are hurting us now but will pay dividends in the future. Geaux Tigers.

We rested people that could have played vs Vanderbilt. We have this bye week to make adjustments.
The talent is there, the defense was not use to playing this many snaps due to the high powered offense.
Burrow will make more first downs instead of long TDs against these better teams. Your catastrophe syndrome should have waiting until we actually lose a game.

uh...
LSU won 10 games last year with half the offense we have this year
technically we won 11 because we all know the A&M game was hijacked with really bad officiating
