For those who don’t know, Carson King was the college student that had the sign on College Gameday, and had gone on to raise over $1 million for local children’s hospital. Aaron Calvin, with Des Moines Register, thought it was needed to dig up old tweets from 16 yo Carson King.

That’s not journalism. That’s pettiness and jealousy given a platform and made to look legitimate. And all it’s going to do is hurt what has probably been the most successful fund raising campaign that children’s hospital has seen in a while.
