AGREED... Some LSU fans are beyond pathetic... Should we play at 11??? A night game on ESPNNEWS would be better but oh well..... Play them and beat the crap out of them and move on to FLA.......

It looks like the fanbase is more worried about getting drunk and having a party instead of worrying about what the team does on the field..... That's really sad..... I agree that a night game is better for tailgating and shite, but damn you LSU fans griping are really sad..............

Yes, a pathetic fanbase that only wants an awesome game day experience. The whole purpose of home cupcake games is to generate revenue with the game day experience on campus and at the stadium. 11:00 am kick off is not how you get and keep butts in the stadium.

Well shite, I agree with Peej. 11AM home game once every 2 or 3 years isn't going to kill tailgating. Maybe the stands will be 75% full in the second half.

Have to disagree with you on this one, PJ.

For me personally, it’s not about getting hammered before the game, it’s travel time.

I drive 2 hours to get to the games. For a CBS, game it may as well be twice that.

But for an 11:00 game? Combined with traffic? Although to be fair, according to some in this thread, they may not even attend so who knows how much of an issue traffic will be but in any event, I’m going to have to leave at the latest at 6 am, so I can park before all the roads around LSU are barricaded.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who has to make a decent drive. Heck even those living in BR have to deal with it.

It sucks. And if the Florida game is a CBS game..... ugh

Woodward needs to drag his nuts over Birmingham and tell Sankey that Alabama’s permanent cross-division game is a joke compared to Auburn’s and LSU’s and they need to do away with them.

After all, Saban said they’ll play anybody. Let’s see if he means it.

Well I am glad your kids are involved in sports and doing well....... Well that's the price you pay I guess... I doubt LSU or any network is worried about this......... Sad to say but LSU fans want EVERYTHING THEIR WAY.......................

Well over 10 years.

I’m not acting like LSU is special at all. I just explained my reasoning. That’s for me personally.

I will say I’m less than thrilled at leaving here at pretty much the crack of dawn. It’s a huge inconvenience for those that have to drive almost across the state to get to the game.

Perhaps someone who lives in BR might see it differently than I do and that’s ok.
