More than likely it'll be 2:30... Thanx to Texas A&M

2:30 is pretty much a lock at this point

Not necessarily with auburn and UF probably being 330 the week before. UF loses and cbs doesn’t want UF on back to back weeks. Then cbs chooses their darlings of Alabama and jimbo Fisher

I'm hoping we can play the homecoming card and request the game to be at night.

CBS can only broadcast Alabama a maximum of 5 times during the regular season.
They've already picked their games vs. South Carolina & Ole Miss. I fully expect them to select LSU & Auburn later this year, so they'll have to decide between their game vs. A&M or Tennessee as their final one.
If CBS wants Bama/A&M more than Bama/Tennessee, then LSU/Florida may have a chance to be at night.

Because "3rd Saturday in October" outdated BS....

“Tradition” that no one cares about outside of Bama and Tennessee.

TN fans don't care about it.

Yea 2:30. I cannot see CBS not taking this game unless they take to primetime. Nothing else going on that week unless things change drastically.

This... IMO, either the Auburn or Florida game will be a 2:30 start. With Florida being homecoming game, I'm hoping the Auburn game will get the nod.

Here are the SEC games for Week 7:
10/12 - TBD (2) Alabama (23) Texas A&M
10/12 - TBD S Carolina (3) Georgia
10/12 - TBD (9) Florida (4) LSU
10/12 - TBD Arkansas Kentucky
10/12 - TBD Ole Miss Missouri
10/12 - TBD Miss St Tennessee
10/12 - TBD UNLV Vanderbilt
If Florida beats Auburn on October, I believe that CBS will almost surely take the LSU-Florida game at 2:30. If Florida loses to Auburn, I think our game time with Florida will depend on a couple of things. A&M would have to beat Ark this weekend to stay ranked which should happen. A&M is off the following week. That means, as another poster out, that CBS would have to choose between Bama & Tenn or Bama & A&M since they can't televise Bama more than 5 times. Tenn plays Ga on Oct 5 so they very likely would be 1-4 after that game. They play Miss St on Oct 12 thus they very well could be 1-5 by the time they play Bama or 2-4 at best. Thus it seems doubtful that CBS would take the Bama-Tenn game. I believe CBS would take Bama-A&M under that scenario as some of the luster of our game with Florida would be lost if the Gators lose to Auburn.

So there's a decent chance that we won't have any more night games for the rest of the season, with the exception of maybe Arkansas?

Texas A&M will be a night game. Same day as Bama/Auburn which will be 2:30pm.
