How to watch/listen on flight?

I purchased WiFi, but it seems most streaming services won’t work on board the plane. Anyone have any suggestions?

Better hope it’s one of the few remaining flights with direct tv or else you’re hosed. WiFi on airplanes is super slow and spotty; and they say in the fine print you can’t stream your own content.

They block streaming sites (Netflix, hulu, etc.) because of the bandwidth pull.
