This isn't accurate. Harvey was far more widespread. There may be certain areas who got lucky during Harvey that are getting it worse now, but I got it bad in Harvey and so far we are OK in Fort bend.
This rain event is nowhere near Harvey which dumped 40 inches in some areas

Some areas have already gotten that and more. Guy on the nws Lake Charles briefing said at 10:30 orange has gotten 42 inches and could be looking at as much as 10 more.

Some are definitely seeing those totals with this event.
The whole, "Is this worse than....." is completely subjective.
For many this will be worse.
