That's actually hard to say.
There can be no doubt that the furor.......and, the media routinely covering the furor, raises general public awareness of the Chic Fil A brand.
A HUGE goal of any advertising is to basically just kinda remind customers......."remember us?" Hell, that's pretty much all Coca-Cola does!
Don't ya think Panda Express would love the media doing them the courtesy of mentioning their chain about 500 times per year for free? All to cater to a SUPER TINY fraction of people that it might cause to avoid their store?
If I'm Chic Fil A, part of me wants this coverage to never stop

Granted it's not all of the reason, but them standing up for their Christian beliefs helped for sure.
I don't think their position one way or the other really drives business.
But, the fact that a bunch of dumb asses cause their brand name to be put out CONSTANTLY for reasons that no rational person gives a frick about certainly can't hurt.
Humans are creatures of recognition and I can guarantee you that if you'd asked people 5 years ago to name 3 fast food chains fast............and then did it today...........Chic Fil A's name gets included MUCH more frequently.

ha. when that happened, there were quite a few people that we knew that said they were boycotting CFA.... for that day only, because the chicken is too damn good and the service is first class.
of course, anyone who went to CFA that day knows how successful that boycott was.

I didn’t think there were that many good people in the world to man all those locations.
there's one near me that I tend to not frequent because they really don't measure up when compared to other CFAs...the only thing that location does good is get an order right, everything else is much closer to McDs level.

I've said often that I would love to spend 6 months as a guest board member for Chic Fil A just so I can listen in.
Because I'm genuinely curious how the frick they can be SOOOOOOOOOO much fricking better at just getting orders right, having pleasant employees, cleanliness and handling volume with basically the same level of paid employee.
It's fricking amazing really just in terms of how the hell they accomplish it.

Just wait for someone to be offended by the word boycott. It should be " personcott", don't use gender specific pronouns.
I don't go to CFA because they use too much msg on their food. I do enjoy good service and polite employees, and they seem to be the only fast food outlet that hires nice workers.

fewer menu variations. there's not a single/double, there's not a big mac/whopper, burrito, taco, chicken fries, etc.
always seems to be 2 people dedicated to expedite orders. another person running drinks.
if the expediter is distracted with other crap like running to find cups, drop fries, running back to help the line, etc. that's where it breaks down.
huge to keep the "wrong order" things off the table as it leads to scenes at BK, McDs, etc. Although I do love seeing the idiots storm in from the drive thru complaining that their whopper w/cheese has the cheese on the top instead of the bottom or whatever other dumb shite that's complained about.

I didn’t even know CFA was a conservative family values business until that happened. Now I intentionally eat there just as a “frick you” to snowflakes.
Thanks, MSM.

Correct. You can much more easily say that their political stance (although, I might quibble with the characterization of this as a "political stance") didn't hurt them, nor did this silly "boycott" in supposed response. That's certainly the main take here from me.

Okay. I'm not sure why that was posted in response to what I said.
