The biggest issue people have with him is he didn't think Burrow was worthy of praise before or after Georgia Southern and then after the Texas game he sort of crawfished back from it. He just came out with a strong opinion without really having a good basis for it, which is what most talking heads do.
People forget, though, that he gave Burrow a lot of credit last year for having a command of the offense and understanding of defenses. He broke down film of Burrow doing audibles and such at the line last year. He really isn't bad. Aside from having a very smarmy face.
