Curious - What did you end up paying or what did you see being asked ?

$600 each for a pair or $450 for a single was the best I saw.

The people next to me paid $600 each. For two seats. But 4 people paid for the same seats. One couple bought them online. The other had hard tickets. And they all got in the stadium just fine.

Very few people were actually selling, but the ones I talked to were asking $500 and up each.

I eventually got in for $100 because a vendor selling water outside the stadium told me he’d let me and my group in for $100 each if we followed him in. He lead us to a ticket scanner who was his friend, he pretended to scan our phones and we walked right in, turned a corner and paid the original guy $400 total. I’m sure those dudes made bank that night.

We went and stood in the UT student section and watched the game from section 19 in the lower bowl. Nobody asked to see our tickets all night. Met a group of 6 other Tiger fans that said they got in the same way.

I ended up selling my tickets about an hr before kickoff. Sold on stubhub almost immediately when I posted them. I got $620 for the pair after fees but I believe the selling price was around $735.

I talked to that guy too, I wasn’t sure I would find a place to actually see the game & didn’t want to pay $100 to potentially watch the game on the concourse televisions so I passed.

That is great

Did you make the offer or did the vendor?

I sold two in section 126 outside the stadium around an hour before kickoff. $450 per ticket.

He came up to us after seeing our fingers in the air.

I was worried about finding a place too, but we got lucky stumbling upon the student section.

After reading some of these stories, should I be concerned about stadium security?

They got lucky... I bought a pair on StubHub Saturday morning and as we were literally walking up to the gate I got a call from StubHub saying my tickets were no longer valid and they would be refunding the full amount including fees. We tried to use them anyway but they wouldn't scan. I never got a full explanation but my guess is they sold them on more than one site. That was the second pair StubHub gave us because the original pair also ended up being invalid. It was 20 minutes to kickoff at this point and we couldn't find anyone outside the stadium selling. Ended up with a $150 credit for a future purchase and back at the hotel watching in the bar... thank goodness for the win or it may have been the most disappointing sports weekend of my life.

They talked shite to us most of game, but it was pretty tame because they were losing the whole time.

One chick said “That’s not how you spell GO” after LSU scored and we were spelling T-I-G-E-R-S. I just laughed.

One person yelled to me “This is the most pussy team I have ever seen in my life” when our players kept going down with cramps, to which I yelled back “imagine losing to the most pussy team you’ve ever seen in your life”

When Burrow threw the dagger TD pass to Jefferson on 3rd and 17 we went nuts and they threw beer on us. I didn’t even care honestly, I was so happy.

Typical Texas fans. Glad we ruined their night. They’re in for a rude awakening when they come to LSU.

I ended up buying 2 tickets for $625 total. Was offered them at $800 but we talked him down. It was upper deck, but 50 yard line in the shaded side of the field. This was probably an hour until kick off.
