Nah. It's stale over there.

Now, when the next Rian Johnson Star Wars comes out...then we'll be in business.

Also, did they have any opinions regarding if they felt that Snowden going through regular channels would have been successful?

They assumed he would have gone to prison. But they considered that the consequence of doing it as he did. I really don’t recall anything else In it from them.

I think the big deal is that not everyone wants that fact public and therefore, it is usable information against individuals

I get that - but if the bottom line/takeaway is that "everyone" is watching porn, then no one should GAF if "everyone" (who is also watching porn) knows, right?

What am I missing? (I guess it can be used selectively, politically, but doing that gives away the game does it not?)

Alas. If only humans actually operated that way.

Besides. WHICH porn you watch can be played against you. Did you search for Lolita porn. you'll be accused instantly of wanting to have sex with little girls.

Have you watched even ONE non straight porn vid? Blammo. Blackmail material.

And hell. They don't even need to threaten to make your porn habits public. They can just threaten to send them to your daughter or your wife.

If you are a famous war commander and you are writing your Mémoire, doesn't the co-author have a certain access-- especially when she is/has been embedded with him? In the same vein don't reporters have access when they embedded in the Persian Gulf wars?

When Brennan went into Petraeus' laptop he found an affair of the co-author of his Mémoire. If Petraeus didn't go to the podium and fess up to the (widely known in Navy circles- affair) and bow out... Next it would have been embarrassing porn.

They told me that they were personally very concerned about the use of mass data analysis as a means of predicting criminal or terrorist behavior, which was what NSA was trying to do.

Thanks for sharing. I agree that illuminates one of the two major issues frequently discussed. That is, many people are upset about the warrantless interception of communications where there is an expectation of privacy. Those that believe we shouldn't have an expectation of privacy may still believe the program lacks effectiveness. Both those points are independent of Snowden the person. His memoir could be interesting, or it could just be a way to monetize his actions. I'll probably wait for some reviews before I read it.

That depends on which side you support...the govt or the country. They are certainly not the same.

By definition, Ed Snowden is a traitor...but so were the founders of this nation.
