Not very good.

Loved Etling's heart.
But his arm was sub-par. Maybe because of his back problems or his technique. But he could not make the NFL throws.

Plus he had trouble with touch passes. Joe has that ability also.

All you have to do to compare is to look at where Danny was drafted (7th round -(last) by NE Patriots). Belichick is known for taking flyers at QB.

Joe is being projected as a first rounder. Even if he falls some, he is still going to be drafted much higher than Danny, who would probably not have been drafted had Belichick not brought him in for a camp arm. Burrow is a sure NFL QB while Danny is trying to find some footing on a practice squad.

Absolutely no comparison. Burrow.

I don’t think anyone is arguing otherwise. OP is just asking if Etling would’ve been good in this offense. And I think he’s have been ok. Certainly he would’ve been better than he was in the Stone Age scheme but he wouldn’t be doing anything special. This scheme still requires a talented QB.
