LSU New Orleans pipeline

Over the years LSU seems to miss on the big name kids from Karr Warren Easton (st aug has been good to them), and etc like brother Martain when they had those all American kids. Is it LSU hate in the city at certain schools?

LSU has gotten just about everyone they've wanted out of New Orleans for the past decade

Some people just don't get it. Some of these kids in the inner part of NOLA (Rally, Really, Really) want to get out of the state of Louisiana. This is their chance to see what's out there. We would love for all the kids to come to LSU, but some really just want to get away from Louisiana. Sometimes that's not a bad thing. Wish them well.

Who are you thinking of in particular?

Not many players we’ve really wanted left the state. Frank Wilson and Mickey Joesph have done well in Nola.

LSU has lost more big time BR kids than NOLA kids lately. Van Pran is only one this year and it hardly feels like a loss because he never even considered LSU.
LSU has done well in NOLA since Saban got here and Frank and Joseph have kept it rollin

Warren Easton Grad., Steve Van Buren was a decent player for LSU

LSU was Steve Van Buren's only offer. Same was true of his brother, Ebert. Both played for the Philadelphia Eagles.

i think we are doing ok the past several years considering the talent that didn't go to LSU
Reed, Wayne, Faulk, Aneas Williams, Neil Smith k stewart, ike taylor, Michael Bennett, Mannings, Forte,

Easton’s OC is Munchie Legeaux, who never received an LSU offer and had a decent career at Cincinnati. He won’t help LSU unless Frank Wilson comes back.
There is still some residual hate for LSU as the “White School” of the state.

Really hope we get Tygee Hill and Aaron Anderson from Edna Karr in 2022.

I graduated with a couple guys who went on to play D1 football and they have a strong hate towards LSU b/c they either didn’t get recruited by LSU or b/c LSU hasn’t promoted black guys to OC/DC positions. They think Frank is GOD. Not necessarily the guys I know but it’s guys like this who push the younger generations away from LSU.

We have hit more than we have missed out of Nola lately

New Orleans isn't the only part of the state that has people that look at it that way.
And it's super fricking dumb. Because they want to push kids to the "White School" of another state that probably has a more sordid history than LSU.

bullshite. Look at all the great players we get from NOLA regardless of race. Some people always gotta make it some racial shite.

Wait a second here is Dave Aranda white? Not that it fricking matters what a stupid arse claim.

I feel like the New Orleans talent hasn’t been the same lately besides the jamar chase, John Emery, and Kristen Fulton’s of the world.
