Gaming is completely based on skill unless you're playing a battle royale game, which is still skill based with a little luck of finding a great weapon.
The complainers probably just suck at gaming.

Competitive gaming has very little RNG if any at all.

Agreed.
Shooter games that feature bloom would be my only disagreement. I’ve seen a lot of better players lose matches because of ghost rounds in Destiny, but it was never an esport. Not sure if that matters or not. There was private matches and places to gamble on them though.
