Didn’t like the toss sweep to Kamara on 2nd and 5 when they were running clock inside 2 minutes. Got stuffed for big loss and forced them to play for a FG with time left for Houston to score. Straight ahead at worst they are about third and 2 or 3.

I thought the same thing. Gave the defense a chance to make a negative yardage play. If Kamara got the edge it would have been game over.

To be fair , Kamara usually gets yardage out of that play. But I agree given the circumstance don't even risk losing 5 yards with a pitch. Just hand it off

Still won but just seemed high risk at the time.

We’ve won games with that play before.

I love the call because defense will almost always stuff the middle on a 2nd and 5 needing a stop.

Just so happened that someone missed a block this time and the defender made a play. It happens.

Not to pull a Booger, but I distinctly remember Ingram busting a couple of those last year to ice a game or two

hindsight is always 50/50. looking back it was a bad call. you can see what he wanted though. defense is expecting a run up the middle since it's safe. a run to the edge is higher risk. they rolled the dice and lost. shite happens.

if brees didn't have noodle arm on the drive and hit Ginn in stride that was 6 points. you wouldn't even be discussing this.

see how that works? should've, could've, would've.

CSP is infamous for calling that toss play towards the end of the game.
