Joe Cool was just that, calm, cool, and collected. With him standing there and simply waving with no expression, just pisses off the crowd more than anything. 

If he would have flipped the bird, yelled shite at them, etc, they would have laughed because they know they got in his head (even tho they lost). He killed them with kindness!!!
