Rewatching game: Our defense played totally different in 2nd half

LSU players were not aggressive, they were not intense, they were not fighting in the 2nd half. Several plays LSU had players near the Texas ball carrier and didn't make the tackle until 10 yards down field. That's not how this defense normally plays. IDK wth was wrong with them? Yes, I get it, the heat was draining them, but in those situations you got to suck it up and play aggressive. Man, O should have been ripping them a new one!!! I mean, if you want to beat the elite, you will have games like this, you got to dig deeper and bring out that intensity when you are exhausted. The 2003 NC team went through the same situation. They kept playing aggressive. These guys better learn to play hard when exhausted!!!

Is that how you did it back when you were a pee wee ball legend?

It was hot, man. It's on artificial turf that coducts heat even more.
You can rip into someone for getting cramps all you want but that does nothing.
There's no way to prevent cramping when it's over 100 degrees. On the field it's probably 10 degrees more. And that's just standing around, not chasing around opposing WRs and such.
It happens. Relax.

You type all that from your recliner or the bed?

Why didn't Texas have rampant cramping issues? They were saying in the same heat, yes?

Yes they were. And who lost again?
I think out depth saved us there.
Not trying to be a jerk. I'm enjoying the win.

They were completely gassed. Now i do think an elite defense should play better than we do in that same situation. But there it is.

What makes you think he didn’t? You think he was okay with that performance? He clearly stated his displeasure live on TV after the game. Find something else to bitch about chicken little

If you would have been there then you wouldn’t have started this thread. First game I wanted water more than bourbon.
