Texas is probably the state with the most LSU fans other than LA so its not really a shock.
true, but if 30 Thousand LSU fans are actually in the stadium- that would be totally shocking.

I hope Chip Brown is correct, but how could he ever have access to this information?

We bought our tickets from longhorn athletics. So did a lot of other attendees I know of. They will probably over estimate Texas fans because of it.

According to Chip Brown from Longhorn 24/7, LSU fans have bought up to 30,000 tickets on the secondary market.

We literally comin'

I would say more like 20,000 LSU fans. The UGA game last year was full of UGA fans, and I expect LSU to turn out similarly.

Stubhub and SeatGeek have access to the location of people who purchased tickets via billing zip codes. This number is an assumption the fans who purchased located in Louisiana will represent LSU.

Frankly I’ll be happy if we have between 5 and 10k there,

There will way more then 5,000 - 10,000. 30,000 is a lot but I wouldn’t be stunned. Our Dallas Tiger group was estimating 20,000.

I think that way over-inflates the Texas numbers, honestly. Tons of LSU fans in Texas.

I do not know the numbers for Wisconsin but we seemed to travel well. One state over should be a good showing. How many were in dallas last year?

Texas is a big, proud state, with a rich football heritage. This is a very big game for them, too. Texas has a very good team and a program on the upswing. Why would anyone think we would dominate the game AND the crowd for an important home game?
Give their due.
Tigers by ten in a good game before a largely Texas crowd.
That’s a big win.

This seems to be the most logical outcome.

Of course it will be a largely Longhorn crowd. Their stadium seats 100k?
But LSU fans will be a noticeable presence scattered throughout.
