We're winning this game because our d line is going to absolutely dominate their o line, and our o line will dominate with Charles back at lt.

If you guys miss the days of LSU completely dominating their opponent in the trenches, guess what. They're fricking back.

Their weak spot is the left side of the O Line. Chassion plays on the left side

I'll be honest, With Joe Burrow running the show, I love our chances to go in and make a statement, cool, and cocky!! gotta love that factor

I think LSU wins convincingly but I still want to see how the o line pass protects vs a good team.

We've had to pass pro against our d line all summer.

Our weak spot is also the left side of our O line. I actually think we may dominate but completely disagree that it will be in the trenches. UT has a couple of very good nose tackles, Sweat and number 99, and one or two good linebackers. UT O line looks pretty solid as well. I think UT's weakness is in the secondary and they play alot of soft zone on first and second downs, which is exactly what Ga Southern did and look how that turned out. Watch and see if Emery doesn't catch a few and break them off for huge yardage.

Member when Ole Miss without 5 defensive starters beat LSU in 2013? I member.

Coaching, talent, and will can be a difference maker. Take nothing for granted. LSU better show up ready to play their best.

That grad transfer, Parker Braun, was a 2 time, first team all ACC lineman.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Parker was projected to be a starter this year.

Are the replacements on your lines due to injury?

Chaisson plays on the boundary but I get your point.

I wonder if they run some twist and stunts, I assume they will. Expect they will A-gap blitz Divinity from the mike position too.

We will not "dominate" in the trenches. Our DL is a good match up for any talented team, but the jury is still out on our OL against top competition.
I like our DB's compared to theirs, and it appears our LBs are pretty capable.
Looks to me like two good offenses with LSU having the better defense top to bottom.

LSU's total D was ranked 15th in the nation by the end of the year. It had Danielle Hunter, Kwon Alexander, Beckwith, Duke Riley, Rashard Robinson, Tre'Davious White, Jalen Collins, Ego Ferguson, Micah Eugene, Anthony Johnson, Craig Loston, Jalen Mills, Lamin Barrow, Quentin Thomas, and Corey Thompson.

And LSU's offense consisted of Mett, Jeremy Hill, Alfred Blue, Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry, Kadron Boone, Travin Dural, and James Wright.
