Why do people profess that we're any different than the past peoples?

well there are a few novelties

first, Boomers have completely failed to address structural issues (SS, Medicare, other entitlements) and have actually made them much worse

second, Boomers are able to work longer than humans were able to properly, which has denied advancement for everyone below them

so Millenials (and young Gen X) are left to fix (1) a crumbling government that can't pay its debts and will demand larger portions of their checks each month while (2) being denied 10-20 years of economic advancement that would allow them to overcome the inevitable recessions

so yeah, it's approaching a lost generation

1. While I agree with this sentiment however the collectivistic movement in the country today is led by Millennials. Millennials want higher taxes and more handouts.

2. They are not being denied of anything. They obviously have less marginal value to companies than a boomer if that is what you are asserting.

So Millenials voted for Obama who gave them a brand new entitlment. Sorry but Millenials don't get to bitch about those problems and then vote overwhelming for a guy like Obama.

So, because they aren't lazy and want to work longer , that denies millennials advancement ?

I guess employers are willing to pay a higher salary to a boomer , rather than a lower salary to a millennial .

I wonder why ?

Millennials are asking for student loan forgiveness , those loans are through PRIVATE companies and backed by taxpayers..
Government (taxpayers) would be required to pay for those loans. How does that benefit other taxpayers ? Boomers , Gen X and millennials who didn't go to college would be forced to pay for those . It would only benefit the college grad and on a whole would FURTHER increase our debt.

Debt is one of your complaints about boomers.

Millennials: Prior generations have failed to address structural entitlement issues that have created untenable government debt.

Also millennials: Feel the Bern!!!!!

If you want to succeed you will find a way, if you don't you will find an excuse.
Boomers have to work longer because Millennials won't leave home.
Are Millennials Trump Voters? Do they want to work?
