Has It been announced who won the job? Or they gonna try few folks in live action?

Sure hope to see much improvement in this area.

Stingley apparently walked on the field for bowl practices last year and was already the best PR on the team. I’m excited to see him back there.

Don’t even care about the return itself, just catch the damn ball.

Johnathen Giles challenged Stingley to a punt catching contest at Stingleys first practice. Giles dropped the first one and stingley never dropped one... won the job in his first week as a tiger

Yep. We catch the punt in College Station last year and that game never sees OT.

Or if we have a dynamic playmaker and we run one back or at least get good field position off a long return then that game never gets into overtime. Six of one...

Except your scenario is more like 1000 of one....

Long punt returns and TDs are statistically rare in football. There are an average of 10 punts per game. My guess is the catch rate is in the high 90’s percentile. Giles struggled all fricking year. He never should’ve been back there.

It would be nice to have a skyler green back there again to put fear into the opponents punting team
