Well, ChiComs do so I'm sure he does as well.

Unlike us, Asians seem to have long memories and hold grudges. Koreans are not big fans of Japan either.

Japanese have made a habit of dragging their nutsacks over the Koreans and Chinese anytime they see fit. We need the Japanese on our side.

All these "deals" are in principle and all are "fantastic", "greatest ever" ect.

When the rubber meets the road they are not such big changes. The USMCA is very similar to NAFTA and still is in "principle".

If selling more corn is all this did then it didn't help a lot.

Trump mentioned corn because he knows the farm states are his achilles heel right now should a well financed republican decide to run.

I hope he made a good deal. I hope he got rid of the chicken tax--that would be a big change. I wonder why I am so skeptical about the "huge" changes?

BTW he should tell Borris Johnson here is the trade deal---no tariffs by either country. Ross would never go for that but Trump if he has a free trade bone in his body should shun Ross and go for real free trade with at least one country.

Apparently trade acts and treaties are not the same thing.

The Trade Acts of 1974 and 2002 allow the President to negotiate trade deals as long as such a deal is approved by both houses in a bill before being enacted into public law.

Japan will now be the fattest country in Asia. Corn will be in everything. Get ready to clean out those carburetors.

You are such a dumb count. Usmca has major labor changes, environmental changes, origin changes, digital trade, and stronger enforcement + introduce reviews of deal every 5 years.

No joke.

Okinawa has a weight problem, in no small part because of our influence.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with IB on this point.
