Really surprised they would sign that agreement. I guess the politicians want that publicity bad. I know back in the heyday of Cops that the Police Department had rights of First Refusal on everything filmed. They were allowed to view all footage and cut anything they didn’t want on TV. I figured it would still be that way.

Just yesterday I was talking with somebody about the one cop who just made lieutenant who pulled over that attorney for driving too slow. I think he was going to get ice cream for his granddaughter. That was one of the most painful segments of that show I've ever seen. That officer was not quite the servant that evening.

Pretty much. The advent of cameras has made DAs lazy and many have a “if it’s not on video it didn’t happen” type of approach so they don’t have to actually argue a case.
