That’s actually a pretty solid deal, but I think we will still just go ahead and take our chances on buying tickets outside the stadium.

Just make sure to be weary of fake tickets. If its anything like LSU for big games, Im sure they will be out there.

Maybe I overlooked this topic, but any recommendations/suggestions on parking for the game?

To be fair, Apparently it’s 50 VIP tickets for 250 bucks which include fajitas and 10 drink tickets and supposedly a VIP area to watch the game (originally their post did not have this info)

But to anyone whose been in the rustic tap, 50 people would be crowded in that bar regardless of a VIP section, I imagine you’ll be paying 250 bucks to be sitting on top of some other baws in the back

I reserved 4 seats at Shoal Creek Saloon for $200 total and I get a $200 gift card to use on gameday.

Basically they just wanted a deposit to ensure you’ll spend money if you’re taking a seat.

Thursday morning we are renting mnt bikes and riding some trails, then heading for lunch before a swim at Barton Springs...which lunch place would you guys suggest:

Uncle Billy's Brewhouse
The Picnic Food Truck Park

I live in the neighborhood and frequent Uncle Billy's way more than I should since it's close by. The beer is good and they have some of my favorite smoked chicken wings. Some of the other food can be hit or miss although they've definitely been improving recently. If I'm not feeling the wings, I stick to the turkey, sausage, roadkill(appetizer), burgers, or salads. It's definitely a better option than the picnic food trucks. Another option would be Shady Grove. They have pretty good burgers and salads as well but I'm not crazy about much else on the menu. Both places have nice outdoor patios.

There are a couple other options if you go a little further east on Barton Springs just on the other side of S. Lamar. Terry Blacks has really great bbq. If you're looking for bbq(outside of smoked wings), I would definitely recommend going here instead of Uncle Billy's. The line shouldn't be too bad on a Thursday afternoon.

In that same area is El Alma which has a nice rooftop patio. The mexican food is good and they some solid drinks. I always get the avocado margarita.

Brewers table is good - beware though, chef that opened it and was the reason it was good left a few months ago. Not sure how’s it fairing since, but it was a solid spot.

I was joking, but that’s a good picture.

To be fair though, people at that bar didn’t ride those scooters. They were dropped there. But scooters everywhere, that’s all of downtown

Yeah, it has been my go to place every year for crawfish. They were selling them for ~$3/lb for their anniversary party this year which was cheaper than the price of some live crawfish around here.

I know that's not their clientele riding scooters there. It's still a funny picture showing a sign of times changing in that area. The scooters were dropped there because there are more people/tourists renting places around there.
