Which team will help LSU/UT be better prepared for their week 2 match up? Who would you rather play? I know GSU has a dual threat QB so that should help us in that aspect right? Not sure what Tech has but it’s just Tech

Spoken from a true Georgia Southern fan. Is "way better" Southern's justification for being 5 spots behind LaTech in the preseason rankings?

I would rather play a team like Tech that at least runs a more traditional offense than something as specific as the triple option run by Ga. Southern.

Even though everyone believes GSU will be a cakewalk for the Tigers, the defense will still have to spend a great deal of time game planning for that type of offense, since they rarely ever see it, instead of prepping for a traditional offense and tailoring specific to that team, which would also double as some prep for UT as well. Whereas, just about everything put in for GSU will only be useful for that game and likely have no application to prep for UT.

I dont think so, it is assignment football, assignments that can be taught in just a few practices.

Superior athletes will dominate the game unless they lose their focus.

This only works if either of those teams are similar in talent level and scheme to Texas.

Neither are, so I’m going with execution and practice will prepare us best.

Soooo let me get this right. Your winning team is the team that beat South Alabama 30-26, not the team that beat South Alabama 48-13 in a conference game? Okie dokie. Makes sense to me. That's the only common opponent we had, but yeah...

La Tech will not beat GSU this year.

While La Tech may run a an offense that you are more use to
both your staff and players have a chance to adapt to a different style of offense which is a good chalange to them!

Clemson beat Aggie by 2, Alabama beat Aggie by 17. Who won the Bama Clemson game?

AS I SAID-

La Tech will not beat GSU this year.

both your staff and players have a chance to adapt to a different style of offense which is a good challenge to the LSU team & coaches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Georgia Southern lost to ULM last year 44-25.

That says enough for anyone from Louisiana reading this thread.
