Was pretty rough in the spring. Has it gotten any better. I know hole #3 is a shell of its former self. More interested in conditions of fairways and greens.

I played there about a month ago. Greens were actually pretty good except for a few with issues. Fairways and bunkers need some work. It's clearly not what it used to be but still a unique layout on a beautiful piece of land.

I hate to hear all this about the Bluffs. I live in Arkansas and only got to play it once every 3 years or so, but it's one of my top 10 of all time, and I've been lucky enough to play some of the country's best courses .

Grew up on Webb in the 50's and 60's, so it will always be #1. LOL.

Played yesterday.

Course was in much better shape than I've seen it here recently. Greens had a few questionable spots on them, but the pins were in good spots with little to no dead spots. Greens were rolling quick too. Bunkers need some love, but with all the rain we've been getting, that's to be expected. Good outing.

Imagine Briarwood about 5 years before it closed with a more interesting layout and you have the current condition of The Bluffs.

Playable and enjoyable but not near the jewel it once was.

Planning on playing somewhere close to False River Saturday. What's in the best shape out of the Bluffs, Copper Mill, or Beaver Creek?

My boss lives in the Bluffs. Said the HOA took over the golf course and fees shot up in order to cash flow getting the golf course back in good shape. By all indications on this board, and what he’s telling me, it sounds like it’s trending in the right direction.
