I would imagine it has power from the main grid for the US Virgin Islands and generators are for backup - given the propensity for storms in the Caribbean.

He developed that island and notice there are no power poles above ground. So he wisely buried his local grid below ground to be resilient to weather.

But yeah a Diesel or Propane.

Edit: or yeah - water treatment. Can’t dump pedo poop straight in to the ocean

Much of USVI is on septic so this is a good point

Aside from the arguing in this thread, no way anyone would have anything but a Diesel Generator in this situation.

The energy density in diesel is greater, transportation and storage is easier and more convenient.

No way it would be propane.

It will probably never happen but I would like to see the actual design of this place

It would be fascinating

After closer review of the video, the ground pipes are in pairs (3 sets of 2), and there appears to be a ground cap encased in cement between each pair of pipes.

The cap on the end is easily seen as it’s clean and closest to the drone. But if you look closely, you can see two others covered In dirt just behind the piles of pallets.

In another video, there are two diesel filling stations (for the equipment I assume) just behind this building. So I feel pretty confident these are diesel tanks, and likely diesel generators that share the same tanks as the refueling pumps.

Edit: on a separate note, this island will probably be listed for sale soon. So we may get to see some specs at some point (all inclusive w/pedo tunnels!!!).

Or perhaps a Anon can pose as a perspective buyer and get a tour.

It's about to be owned by the US Government, so maybe they'll turn it into a park.

Blueprints might not do you any good, though. Even the freaky blue & white "temple" structure wasn't built according to the plans that were submitted to the AHJ for approval.

Doubt it will become a park. Now a retreat for Senators and House members... Yep!
