Listen to hometown guys and their 'unbiased' homer opinions?

Music? A funny or informative podcast?

This is common knowledge. Where have you been?

On earth where “common knowledge” without data to back it up is often wrong and in many cases the exact opposite

quote:

A simple look at who has the most players in the NFL, year in and year out,

Well in 2018 the college with the most NFL players was Alabama LINK
I know LSU was the leader in recent years but that’s more about timing. Saban’s first Bama recruiting class was draft eligible in 2010. For about a decade before that Bama was down, where as LSU was having great success, much of with players recruited by you know who. Since 2010 Alabama has had substantial more players drafted especially in the first round. Because of that I’m sure they had more guys that didn’t pan out but I would need some evidence that they bust at a higher rate

As for the all pros: Eddie Jackson was first team all pro last year. I did not see any LSU players.

quote:

But the difference between them and LSU, is not nearly as much about physical talent as it is about coaching. And no, that's not a bash on Orgeron statement. That fact is true for most coaches in America, when compared to Saban. It is what it is.

I could not disagree with this more. Saban’s brilliance is on his organization, his meticulous attention and to detail aka the process. That helps him amass more talent. He doesn’t out scheme or out coach per se, but knows his opponents even better than they do most of the time.

quote:

Given my above statements, which are well known facts

you have submitted no facts just at best anecdotes and “common knowledge”.

quote:

I'm clearly talking about them not actually having 12 players DESERVING of first team recognition, if LSU only has a couple

Its called sarcasm but if that’s your claim, site some examples of these undeserving players and who was snubbed in your opinion?

quote:

Alabama has guys making the POSTSEASON first team with like 40 something tackles at linebacker

Post season team is different as that tends to be based on the season just completed. I do agree sometimes you just see guys from the top teams, but without specific examples it sounds more like narrative writing again

Well they've recruited better than any other sec team in nearly every position. In not shocked that they're loaded, or that the media values thier players more than other schools

This isn't about just LSU players being overlooked, it's more about the entire SEC. Teams like Georgia have half as many as the gumpa? They more than us have proven they're on a even keel, but are similarly overlooked.

what?
if by even keel you mean Georgia has lost 4 in a row and hasnt beaten bama since Saban's 1st season then yeah.... even keel.

UGA has certainly done better that we have vs the gumps.
I'll be the first to admit LSU hasn't even been competitive but UGA certainly has.

Calm down. Take a breath. “It’s not how you drive, it’s how you arrive.” Let’s see what it looks like after they actually play the games. Injuries happen. Players emerge. Players fade.

I'm as cool as a cucumber. I just know for a fact 12 gumps won't be on the final all sec team.

It's the guile of the assholes who made it that has me 'upset'.

If only there was a betting line on this crap....

Look at this way - if they don’t win it all then Saban is a failure

there arent many sec teams that have been less competitive against bama than we have lately.

only 1 team on their schedule had less yards than us and only 2 teams had less 1st downs than us

Please tell us which of their players on the preseason all SEC team don’t belong and which other (I assume mostly LSU players since you are the OP are purely objective ) should be there instead

There is no link or list in the OP and I am not looking it up. But if Dylan Moses is on the list for anything other than 3rd team that is one. There are three LSU LB's rated higher than him by PFF.

Edge Michael Divinity Jr – 81.1
LB Patrick Queen – 72.7
LB Jacoby Stevens – 70.8

LB Dylan Moses – 67.6

One would think the Clemson beatdown would have curbed all this bs, but no...

Is Clemson in the SEC? Alabama whipped everyone’s arse in the SEC. including s 29-0 beatdown.

Little future tip- argue with facts, not emotion.
