That would be my choice.
I like the blazer 2400 as well. It's a rolled gunnel boat with an acre of floor space.
Other good ones to pass your eyes over are parker, sea hunt, bluewave, frontier.
At your price point you may want to call gaudet's, Scully, and hanko's and price a custom aluminum rig. That's a true 100% no bullshite lifetime hull.

Anyone have experience with Avenger bay boats? I saw one yesterday. Damn fine looking boat.

This or 224 BJ are both in you budget and will out ride most of similar length.
