Dem Presidential candidates say we have to act now

what does this mean, act now?
Take guns?
or more strict gun laws...
Yes, they mean very strict gun laws to prevent the purchase of "assault weapons"...or whatever the case may be...which is about 2200 type guns
So how does strict gun laws prevent a planned murder of innocent people, err a person snapping and killing?
fast forward in 10- years, is the media going to be shelling out stats?..."today we observed a tragedy with a silver lining, America's new gun laws saved lives, 9 people were gunned down today, however if we still had the old laws in place, our models show at minimum 15 would have died today, back to you Jim"

Guns aren't the problem.
Guidance from birth,parenting,and education are key.
Family and love and support are key.
It's sad that so many are left wandering around on their own without any guidance.
This won't get better til parents are held responsible.
