I rolled up to MSY an hour and a half before my flight last Saturday and still missed my flight even with TSA pre-check as did many others.
MSY is a shite show for parking even everywhere offsite and including short term and long term. Everything was full.

Now this is the real story and I'm shocked the local media hasn't asked why MSY has a major parking issue right now especially when you have dozens of parking spots unoccupied on the 4th floor of the short term parking garage reserved for politicians. If you think the parking situation is bad now WAIT until the new airport opens! Parking will be 10000000000000000000000% worse than what it is now!
