How does UGa tank so high after getting their asses handed to them in sugar bowl?
Best defensive players are gone and best receivers are gone. Guess Fromm carries that much weight.

I agree UGA is a bit overrated.....
But if LSU just wins with the schedule we have everything else will work itself out

They've recruited as well as anybody and Florida is the only team in their division who has any shot at competing with them.

They've recruited great the last few years. They will be good for the foreseeable future.

1. They are 22-2 over the last two regular seasons
2. They've recruited as well as anyone not named Alabama over the last 3 seasons
3. They return a veteran QB who will likely be a first round pick
4. They play in the weaker of the two SEC divisions
5. They didn't care about playing in the Sugar Bowl and no one outside of Texas gives a shite about that result. No different than when Bama lost two meaningless Sugar Bowls following the 08 and 13 seasons. In both instances they went to the NC game/or playoff the following year.

becuase a bowl game from last year isn't the sole deciding factor on where a team is ranked 9 months later? I mean why rank alabama so high considering their last game?
As other posters have mentioned, we've been one of the 2-4 best teams in america the last 2 seasons, have recruited better than anyone besides alabama the last 3 seasons, and only really have UF in our division to worry about. To go along wiht some really, really talented and experienced guys leading the team.
