Is he our backup plan to Evans? I see where he's CB'D to the Tigers. Is he waiting to commit just playing the recruiting game? Just haven't heard him talked about at all on this board. How good is this guy.

Ashaad is a very good running back and getting commitments for Ashaad and Van Pran would be great.

The new early signing period is changing the dynamics of committing early. The kids that are good enough to make teams hold spots for them know where they want to go and are playing the game.

frick I hope not.

Personally I feel like the staff is swinging for the fences since we got Emery and Ty last year. Milton’s off the board now it’s Evans then Clayton.

Been really quiet on him. As others have said I think the staff is swinging for the fences with Evans and doesn’t feel like they need a RB if they miss. Not sure if I agree with slow playing Clayton if that is the case, but numbers are tight as it is so I understand it.

You’re not hearing about Ashaad CLAYTON because he now goes by Ashaad JOHNSON.

And there is a lot of talk about him. Most every prediction thread includes Evans/Johnson as the possible RB in this class.

Evans and Clayton probably better than Milton.

This is true, but there's been next to no actual information on him, like who his leader is, how hard we're pushing for him, if he even has a committable offer right now, or if we're all in on Evans.

From what I’ve read, I think we would take both. Every recruiting guru I’ve seen/heard since Jaquelin Roy committed has said that there will be attrition from this class, whether from upgrades or straight decommits.

I sure hope not. 2 RBs and 4 WRs is way too much. I'm good with 1 and 3 this year.

I don’t think all of the WR’s stick. And 2 is better than 0 when it comes to RB.
