There are tens of thousands of American kids who have been removed from their homes and put into group homes or worse because of the actions of their parents or guardians.

Yeah, not for something like bank robbery but he was comparing the over all concept of removing kids from their parent(s) and you are just being obtuse to conflate the point. I get it though, you are just being a good little liberal trying to twist things.
