Lost in all this trade talk is that the Astros' divisional deficit is down to -8 games.

Man theres times where it feels like everything is going so well but then you see that number and it brings you back down to earth

I guess b/c I follow the AL more since the Astros move, MLB just has an NBA feel to it when it comes to the regular season.

It doesn’t help that the Astros take it to the extreme, resting starters daily. Look how many injuries teams like Yankees and Astros have had, but still running away. Astros had to slump with A’s streaking just to get where they’re at now.

There’s always a surprise team like the Twins,
but even teams like the Indians, who are catching them, are being discussed as sellers. Pretty much 2 teams in each league with a chance to win the pennant.
